Force Recon Boots

Post by avidwanderer »

I have a pair of Force Recon Boots, and they are awesome, the best boots I have had yet. They are sympatex lined, and work great in the field as well as indoors. They also have vibram soles. From what I understand Sympatex is like Gortex but better, and is supposed to protect you from blood born pathogens. I have never been involved in CQB, but these boots are marketed as such. I didnt want to hijack the other two boot threads so I made this one.

Where's the link? I'm in the market for some boots and I wanna check em out. Who's the manufacturer? How do they hold up?

Where's the link? hahahaha. I'm looking at Rockies or Danners right now. I'm hell on boots. My Red Wings didn't last a year. And those fuckers cost.

Boots? Hello? I'm needing some boots.

Avid,
I hate to tell you this man, but those look like Lesbian boots. Why haven't your friends squared you away? :D :D

I like boots with real leather on them.....it makes me feel comfortable to know that a cow was slaughtered in order for me to have footwear. :D
I was in 2/75 from 97 to 00. 5-99

Thats my boot!! Ranger Dublo, they may look lesbian, but I beat the snot out of them at AF Pre-Ranger, and they took great care of my feet. To bad I can't use them in RS... I actually think they look cool--they look kind of like the oakley boot everyone likes.

I'm keeping my eye on this boot. I'm looking for endurance. Comfort is cool, but I just did 9 months in Red Wings that hurt occassionally.

So far, Rocky leads the way. 19 months as a work and hunting boot is pretty damn good.

Keep me posted on the endurance and reliability of this boot.
