I got here to Eglin in January. My last jump prior to arrival was with 173rd on March 26, 2003. So yeah, it had been awhile.
I gotta say, I really dig the MC-6. Compared to the T10, this bitch handles like a Ferrari. Had a great exit and an awesome landing. Too bad I had to do pre-jump 4 times just to exit the bird once.
I was thinking I'd at least be a little nervous after so long, but once I was rigged up...just another day at the office.
