I really should learn to be more appreciative of unsolicited advise and opinions from early 20 somethings, especially females, who have almost zero adult experience and are still on their parents health and cell phone plans. Just because they have never accomplished anything outside of obtaining a degree doesn't mean they lack an understanding of taxes, mortgages, how the government works, structured work environments, etc.

I think someone has been watching a couple of my laborers from work. hahahaha Why is it everyone under 25 years of age believes they have to be looking at their phone all of the time instead of trying to do something productive, like, maybe work!Flesh Thorn wrote:I really should learn to be more appreciative of unsolicited advise and opinions from early 20 somethings, especially females, who have almost zero adult experience and are still on their parents health and cell phone plans. Re: Random thought of the moment.
Interestingly they put two of Ghenghis Khan's quotes into the movie. Khan talked to his sons and asked what is best. One son did the famous "crush your enemies" line ... actually it was "A man's greatest work is to break his enemies, to drive them before him, to take from them all the things that have been theirs, to hear the weeping of those who cherished them."Tracker275 wrote:Mongol General: Hao! But Khan, pretty much burned out on killing everybody who pissed him off, said it was "the open steppe, fleet horse, falcons at your wrist and the wind in your hair"
Also interestingly, Khan, once he established his empire, was one of the few where religious freedom and science could do what they wished without worry of punishment from the government. The rules were harsh, but if you didn't go break them, the Mongol empire was a pretty good place to live. This was a country where Khan said that a naked virgin could walk through his empire with a bag of gold and have no fear.
