Jim, the deployment went well. I'm not a medic so no CMB. I'm a 92A (logistics). I was put in for a CAB towards the end of deployment, but haven't received confirmation if it was approved yet.

Grim666, you'll get your beer. I'm looking forward to heading out that way. Looks like 8-14 at this point.

Last week I took a pt test for a slot at SURT and earned myself a spot. I will be starting SURT on Sunday and on track to enter Ranger School in the 8-14 class. This morning we conducted a land navigation test. It wasn't a pass/fail event. It was more of a refresher course. I got all 5 points and will be sure to carry that confidence over into SURT/School. It's been a year since my first trip to Ranger School, and I've been eagerly awaiting my chance to return. This time will be a far different outcome and I cannot wait to get started! It's my time to be a leader in this organization and I am ready for that challenge. If I can get to a computer between phases I will give a quick sitrep on my status.
