Hello all. I'm Mike. I came across this site while looking for an old pic I used to have. I'd seen a familiar face through google and seen he was on this site.
Not much to share about myself. I was an NBC NCO at Bn for about 8 yrs, then went to Korea. After Korea, I spent a lil time in a NBC det at 1st Group. Got out to work on college, working as a DA Civ. Looking to get back to supporting somehow, even as a civ.
Thank You for having me.
RLTW!

Re: Intro-Mike
When I enlisted through DAP in 92, I told the recruiter I wanted a Ranger contract. So, I ended up when a chemical mos. BUT, got the Ranger contract. I went to Airborne in feb 94 after basic and AIT. I went through RIP 2x in Mar and Apr 94- the swim was my criptonite.
Yall prop know about life in Bn between 94-02, not much I can say there. In Korea, it was a culture shock, military wise, although it did give me squad leader time, so professionally, it was needed. Then when I went to the Chem Det, I was able to add so much that I had learned. Tactics and field craft from Bn, and leadership from Korea. BUT, mostly loved re-livin the stuff from Bn. I ended up ETSing in Nov-04. More to my time in that I'd share with someone from the past over beers sometime. Nothing secret, just long winded.
Did college til I got a Sec Guard position on a base. It had an SRT so it wan't too bad. That place closed, so now I work on another base as a Security Guard, non SRT. Always looking to get back and somehow support the places that were an influence in my earlier years, even as a DA Civ if needed. My interests are more hobbies these days then something I can validate through work.
