Introduction

Post by abuckelew »

I was an original member of the 1st Airborne Ranger Company from the date of its inception until March 1951.
I served on active duty for 23 years with service in the 5th, 7th, and 8th Special Forces Groups. I had a tour with White Star in the 7th Group, and two tours in Vietnam, one with the 5th Group and one tour with the 525 MI Group.
I was inducted in the Ranger Hall of Fame in 2007 and presently serve as a member of the RHOF Selection Board.

Outstanding! Welcome Ranger. Usually the "new" guy buys the first round, but in this case, your money's no good here.

Welcome here Ranger Buckelew. I had the pleasure of meeting you at the RHOF selection committee meeting. We spoke at some length about various books and you shared with me about Peter Hopkirk's books on the Raj period.

Glad you found us.
