Option 40 secured (finally)

Post by Kaius 89 »

After about a year since my last post, I have finally secured an 11x Option 40 contract, . I am graduating from college in late November, and am very excited to move on to face the challenge I have coming up ahead of me.

Self-Administered PT test results are as follows:

2 mile run- 12:22
2 minute sit ups- 98
2 minute push ups (chest to the ground, locking out elbows)- 69.

I definitely need improvement, especially on my pushups. I have seemed to reach a plateau on these, and have started implementing other chest exercises into my workouts to try and move past it. I am confident that I can get myself into excellent physical condition.

Good job getting what you want for your contract. There is always room for improvement, especially in PT. If you're doing chest to ground PUs and locking elbows out and still getting 69 in 2min...that's pretty good. For your plateau issues, changing it up and keeping your muscles guessing is the best way to get through that wall.

Check out the PT program page on here for other ideas. Good luck.

I have an 11x Op 40 as well and I ship out on April 3rd so I might see you there.

Acceptoble SITREP. Now quit telling us what you are going to do and start doing more pushups. Never, never quit!
