Intro from Jersey

Post by mxmike27 »

Hi, my name's Mike. Currently I'm in the NG to go through college (Electrical Engineering) as a 91D Generator Mechanic.
After college I'm going active to be in the ranger regiment and, if fate permits, special forces.
I've been lurkin on the site for a while, wanted to register.

Dear Soup Sandwich, welcome to the site. How many killer Generator Mechanics do you suppose the Ranger Regiment wants?

I intend to join the regiment after college, where I'll be re-classing to infantry or medic. How many of those are needed?

Look young hero, if you had read a little more through the forums here you would have found out that the path you've chosen is nearly impossible to complete. The first thing you need to read is the forum rules. The only thing your attitude is going to get you is the loss of a valuable resorce.

I'm a grumpy old asshole who's been around the block several times so I'm allowed an attitude!

Ranger, I've been reading through many threads and pages on this forum and am not sure what you mean. I intend to be discharged from reserve status to active duty when I graduate and change my MOS to one that will allow me to go through RASP. (Infatry, Medic, etc)
I've discussed this with a few of my NCO's and they all said it was possible.
I'm not claiming to have read everything on this site, but from what I've read so far this is what I know. I'll continue to read until I find the answer or someone corrects me.
