One for the pilots/navigators here

Post by cams »

A crusty ole' Pilot is sitting in his seat waiting to go on a bombing mission, when in climbs his new young babyfaced Nav.

Disgusted, the pilot pulls out his .38, spins the cylinder and sets it on his console, obviously trying to make a point.

The young nav looks at him like he's crazy and says, "Sir, what's that all about?" :?

Pilot: "I'm sick of you young idiots getting my crew lost and shot up. If you get us lost kid, I'll kill you myself and toss you out the bombbay doors."

Well, one or two long minutes pass and the nav pulls out a .45, locks and loads a round, flips on the safety and then puts it on his console, obviously also trying to make a point.

Pilot: "What the fuck is that for goddammit."

Nav: "Well Sir, all due respect, I'm going to know we're lost long before you do."

Pilot:

Thanks Cams, my pilot buddy is going to get a copy of that in his email. Along those lines:

You know the difference between jet fighter pilots and God?

God doesn't think he's a fighter pilot.

Guess I will have to carry two guns. When I flew I was both the pilot and navigator!

No, I am pretty sure they must have been knuckle-draggers or worse- squids. Who the hell else would carry a .38? :?
