Has any one ever heard of a circumstance...

Post by brent7890 »

Say a cadet scored good enough on the ASVAB, and say he was able to get the OP 40 after MEPS. Say at MEPS, they found a problem that could be corrected with surgery. Has anyone EVER heard of an instance where they would surgically operate BEFORE they went into training. It sounds like I'm wasting my time on an obvious question. I'd say they'd refute it immediately. The question has not been asked as far as I can tell on the 6 pages of this forum, so here it is. Yes, or no, and any details to the story? I'm pondering if it is a better idea to explain the situation to my recruiter, or get the surgery on my own (God knows how) and then present myself to him later. The issue is pretty minor, but over time, could be detrimental. Thanks for your time.
We're all human, no more, no less than each other. It is worth loathing when someone forgets that.
