Introduction Part II - Donnie

Post by FtBraggTACP »

Greetings Rangers,

I have not been active on this site in quite some time, so I feel I should probably re-introduce myself to everyone here. My name is Donnie, and I am an active duty TACP in the USAF. Currently I am assigned to Hurlburt Field, FL as an instructor at our tech school or “MOS” school. I was directed to this site by a number of close friends who at the time were very active here. My service is as follows;

02-03: Enlisted into the Air Force and Attended Basic Training
08-03: Graduated Tactical Air Command and Control Apprentice Course
09-03: Graduated Basic Airborne Course (Alpha Company/ Keeper of the Wings)
06-05: Deployed in support of OIF with 18th ABN CORPS, Joint Operations Center TACP Liaison
09-05: Moved up to FOB Merez, Mosul, Iraq in support of the 172nd Stryker BDE attached to both 1/17th and 4/23
11-05: Attached to ODA from 2nd BN/3rd SFG for support on operations in Mosul
05-06: Graduated SERE 245
10-06: Graduated JTAC Qualification Course
01-07: Deployed for Presidential Surge to Baghdad, Iraq with 2/325 AIR built and inhabited COP Callahan
06-07: Transferred to support 1/26 IR at COP Old Mod
10-08: PCS’d from Fort Bragg, to Hurlburt Field, FL to be an Instructor at the TACP Schoolhouse

I have had the privilege of serving with a ton of great men and warriors. I am back on the site to try and track down some old friends, vent off frustrations with working for a Training Command, and even attempt to see about networking some joint training opportunities with the Ranger camp down here.
Its good to be back the update son the site look great!

Is there a secure area on here where I could throw some names your way, and see if you know where they might be these days?
