Who is this "Rock"

Post by T Bob »

Hello Rangers,

My recruiter called a "R.O.C.K." (or "R.O.C.") to see if there were any available 11x option 40 contracts that he wasn't seeing on his computer. I searched this site and found another member mention a R.O.C.K./R.O.C. with the same situation. Who are these R.O.C.K./R.O.C.'s? How are they able to help get me the contract?

ROC, is the Recruiting Operations Center at Knox. They are the people who load jobs for enlisting, and work with DA for assignments for prior service people coming back in. Some of a branch manager for Future Soldiers if you will.

The Rock makes the final call on who will be a Ranger and who will not. Don't piss him off!
