Last night I had my inlaws over. My wife's father had been in the Marines in 1945. He was shipped over to be part of Operation Olympic. This was the invasion of Japan that was estimated would cost us a million lives on our side. Luckily the A-bomb was used and ended the war.
So, we are watching an episode of Band of Brothers and he asks me if there was any way I could get his brother's medals from WWII. His brother was killed on the Siegfried Line in Germany in 1945. I told him I would check into it.
So, where could I go to find this information?
