I know you think Bush is the devil but I don’t think he sent those two hurricanes. Also I hate to break it to you but there is this process to getting laws passed and Bush doesn’t have a lot to do with that, it is those other elected so called representatives that do and even though they have a lower approval rating than Bush, no one seems to ever bitch at them.

I filled up this morning, $3.61. I'm surprised we're not getting raped down here in the sunshine state.

Fox News said this morning that if you take names and pictures to prove, the President pledged prosecution when this storm is over.

There is NO such thing as "price gouging"! That is not an economic term, it is a political term used to induce an emotional response. And what do you know a bunch of emotional socialist have responded to it, big surprise. The first thing you can do to improve your economic knowledge is stop listening to politicians. Almost all that any politician says on any topic other than political strategy should be treated with even less respect than would be accorded a professional circus-clown's speculations about string theory.

Who would have guessed that a change in the supply or a change in demand of commodity like gasoline would result in changes in price? I don’t remember any of you fucking retards accusing the public of price gouging the oil companies when gasoline was at an all time low. Are you price gouging when you ask for overtime from an employer. Your time was just worth 15$ and hour, now suddenly it’s worth 30$ an hour because you went over some magic number. Are you suddenly producing 100% more value for your employer? NO, a weekend comes and the supply of capable workers who are willing to work for 15$ an hour changes. This change is reflected in a change in cost for your services.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS PRICE GOUGING! IF A CHICK DECIDES SHE WONT FUCK YOU UNTELL YOU MARRY HER, SHE IS NOT PUSSY GOUGING, SAME PRINCIPLES APPLY TO ANY MARKET.

I posted that other thread about price hysteria...

Prices didn't go up here, but hysteria did. Every Tom, Dick, and Henry filling up 5 gallon cans.

Lines for miles, FIGHTS, and police stationed at the pumps...

Ridiculous hysteria and just goes to show you how totally unprepared the sheep are.....
