SITREP from OSUT

Post by tomasriot »

Rangers I am finally almost out of here and on my way to Airborne. We will have our Turning Blue ceremony next Thursday with graduation the next day. However, I was unable to secure that option 40 before I left. But luck was on my side yesterday and out of our entire company only 4 people were offered RIP. One was for me. I signed mine on the spot while the other 3 turned it down. I somehow got a second chance so to all the DEPs out there, you'd better get that shit before you ship. Don't take no for answer and never give up. Rangers thank you for all the advice on this site it made my OSUT experience much easier. By the way my current pt scor is 284 and improving. Ill have that 300 by the time I make it to RIP. Once again thank you Rangers.

Don't get fat and lazy at jump school. While you will be with many others in RIP, never forget that it is a journey you take alone. Do not let yourself down and drive on.

He's spot-on about being offered RIP. Congratulations, tomasriot. About 10 in our company were offered RIP, a lot of them turned it down. There are only two RIP contracts in my platoon, myself and a fat guy.

PM inbound regarding contact info. We need to PT together during Airborne hold.

Driving on,

Rangers,

Thank you for the congratulations. All that is now left to do is drive on and finish what I've started. I will NEVER quit!

DRM,

PM received and we will definitely do lots of PT through airborne hold and airborne.
