Doc Mac - Charlie Wpns 1/75 is in the perimeter!

Post by panthersix »

Hey Ya'll,

As of tomorrow I'm finally retired out of the Guard! I only joined when I was offered a direct commission to 2nd LT back in 1989 while I was finishing up my MA at UMD College Park. I never thought I'd go back in the Army after living at Ft Stewart for a year after PCSing to Medevac from 1st Bn! Talk about two different Armies!

Anyway, any of ya'll remember Hollywood Charlie from the Desert One days, then please drop me a note. I went back to HAAF last fall to see the new memorial with two of my RIP classmates and a Ranger School classmate on it. They did a great job on the memorial.

It's good to be back in the perimeter of the patrol base once again! No safer feeling than being surrounded by other Rangers!
