CLRP and MGIB

I have read that I can use CLRP and MGIB. Both my Recruiter and MEPS has told me no, i only pick one. I read that i could use both in these articles:

Never heard of buying into the MGIB at later date in the instance you described.

The loan repayment and the MGIB can NOT be given in one contract however. You do have to choose on or the other.

You either accept or decline the MGIB in your initial contract at MEPS on ship day, NOT while in basic training.

Roger, good choice.

How much in student loans did you have, if I may ask. It's not feasible to forsake the MGIB for the SLRP unless you have that 65,000 in loans to pay off.
