Trying to translate this into English...I'm getting the following:

This is a real Dutch tradition where many people ____ at real____ to(omdat?) be used to (gewoon?) ____ this kind of company (gezellig?)!

Thought of the moment : Is this Dutch or Afrikaans?

Traditionally celebrated on the evening of December 5th or the morning of December 6th, It is a real Dutch tradition which many people attach importance to because it is just so nice!

As a small child, we used to celebrate this when our family went to visit my grandparents on one side of my family. These days I am more inclined to celebrate Festivus! :D

Somehow promotions are always better when the LTC gives you a bottle of Wild Turkey as a congratulatory gift.
