Introduction

Hello,

I am 20 years old, just got back from taking my physical at MEPS. I should swear in this Tuesday after they finish with my high school's tier evaluation.

I decided to register after lurking for two or three weeks on here. There is a wealth of information and I appreciate all of the Rangers who are here to answer questions for recruits such as myself. Thank you.

I intened to enlist as a 97E with an option 40 contract. Anything less and I'm walking(unless someone from these boards informs that it's not a possibility). As far as I can tell from the limited information regarding 97E's on this board, they aren't excluded from an option 40. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm sorry that you're not fond of my MOS of choice. Would you care to elaborate on why you don't like 97E's?

Welcome and congratulations for enlisting to be an Army Ranger. Read all the announcements, stickies, etc. and follow all the rules, and you will get all the help you need to reach your goals.
