If you should ever get the chance to take a family cruise or a Tiger cruise like RangerRon don't pass it up. Pretty interesting and they don't come around very often. If the crew is any good at all you might be impressed at the teamwork displayed getting underway and submerging/surfacing the boat.
As far as submarine tactics go I haven't much info. I was in the engineering department and alot of that info wasn't need to know for me. Both those boats are razorblades now and the Shark was long in the tooth when I came aboard. If you have a question on how a boat operates I can probably answer that but the sneaky/spook stuff is mostly speculation. The only tactics I'm familiar with were used on liberty.
