Graduated OSUT

Post by ateup25 »

Well the day has finally come and I have graduated OSUT. Turning blue was definately my highlight as my wife pinned on my blue cord. She is eight months pregnant and I was glad she made the trip down. I have to say I am more focused now then ever on my goals of getting through airborne and RIP. When I get home I am going to hook up with the owner of my local gym who was a PL in Battalion during the early 90's. He told me he would keep me in shape with some special workouts over exodus so I look forward to that. CSM Kelso (ret.) Gave our commencement speech at graduation and it was motivational. As I stated before our training was smooth but rushed. I definately learned a lot but most importantly realized I have a lot more to learn. Right now I look forward to spending time with my family and getting into top shape over exodus and during airborne to maximize my chance of success at RIP.

Patrick, you are progressing. One station of the cross out of the way, plenty of challenges ahead. You have matured a lot over the past eight months -- never, never quit!

Stay focused and don't ever think that your life will be easier if you go down the road, just because your old lady is lonely. You need to make it!

Good job on turning Blue!
