I may be a dumbass for suggesting this, but with what we can see on the myspace page, couldn't we just contact CID and have them track him down? He is in violation of the law by wearing unauthorized devices and rank right??? If need be I'll contact them, I have agood contact with the Fort Stewart CID and they can go from there....?

Sounds like a good initiative.

Seems to me I read a Myspace post here a few months ago that stated the Army had people specially assigned to patrol Myspace for opsec/persec violations as well as posers?

Actually there are several groups watching those areas.

For example the Public Affairs Officer is suposed to review EVERY blog before submission. (which the response to this was, "I won't do it, I don't have the time. There are only a dozen of us in theater, and 130,000 troops. It is just the army making a policy to cover its own ass.")

The CID (counter intel) has a few pepole as well, but they are really looking for those that are trying to aid or contact enemy forces.

So, yes they are out there, but like anything on the back burner, there is no support. It is an additional duty assigned to a person that has many other duties.

Simply it just isn't that importaint to enough people yet.
