SITREP..That Nate the kid

I'll cut out some shit but here it is.
"I've been having a perty good time. I'm lovin being here. We'll catch some smoke every now and then, but for the most part it's been perty smooth. The Drill Sgts. love to smoke us, making us hard. We finished our 12 mile last week stepped off at 0345 got back at 0830 ate breakfast and then cought smoke the rest of the day for pety shit.

Ended up pulling gaurd that night and then doing the Battle march and shoot. We leave for ftx Wednesday 28th of June. It doesn't seem like it should be ending this soon. I'ts funny how you said No matter what life deals you you have to play the game, My company motto is play the game and our prior service guys use the phrase as well. Speaking of which I'm not sure if I told you but we have a good bit of NCO's reclassing MOS's that sleep in the same bay with us, the Drill Sgts. talk to them like shit just like they talk to us, their E-5s and E-6's but I listen and what they have to say and learn. Joesph and I report to Airborne on the 17th of July.
P.S. I hear the Army raised their enlistment age to 42 LOL."

I got off of the phone with his mom last night and told her that I should be linking up with her and his Dad next week. No shit as soon as I hung up the phone the Fucker called me up and was schocked that I just got done with talking to his parents.

The kid realy does have a good out look on things I'm just trying to get him ready for the Regt.
Also for a side note his sister's are going there next week and I told Nate that I was going too bang one for the Ranger in the sky.

Well Nate donned his Tan Beret and his parents pinned on his 1st Bn Scroll about 0930 yesterday morning.

He gets a 4 day weekend then he reports in for his first smoke session. :D
