Rangers,

Today I officially signed my 11xOPT40 contract at MEPS. It took me months to get a waiver to reach this point. I ship 12Sept06 for OSUT. They initially didn't offer me the contract, I actually had to say no thank you to the counsellor six times before an OPT40 approval came down from ROC office. I got virtually no bonus money due to my status as a Glossary NPS canidate, but that wasn't important to me. The OPT40 was. I would like to thank all the Rangers on this site espcially Ranger CDWDirect for his informative posts about RIP and life as a new Ranger. I will drive on and give 110% to every task I am given beginning with preparing for OSUT. Thank you all again.
