Welcome. I know I've posted this before, but here it is again.
RANGER SCENARIO:
A squad of Rangers is hidden in the valley. The adjacent hill is being controlled by a company of highly trained enemy soldiers. Word comes down to the Rangers to take that hill by force.
The Rangers circle up beneath a tree, fix bayonets, butt heads, yell, "Hooah!," and storm the hill. They take the hill, kill all enemy soldiers, and blow everything left in place.
SF SCEARIO:
An A Team is hidden in the valley, sharing some great mule jerky that they made back at the firebase. The adjacent hill is being controlled by a company of highly trained enemy soldiers. Word comes down to the SF Team to take that hill by force.
The Warriors locate a nice shade tree, lean back against their rucks, pop the top on a couple six packs of indigenous beer, and call in a massive air strike. All enemies are KIA, and the hill is now a crater.
As you can see, both units completed the mission, with similar results....they just went about completing the mission in different ways.
