RIP Hold Sitrep & PT Test

Post by Ryan655 »

Well newly arrived from C co. 1/507 we just took the pt test this morning and got a first time go. Just about all of my buddies past and a few are retesting next week. its been a while since I have posted anything but airborne school went smoothly and my grandfather even came down to pin on my wings. He said it was 42 years ago to the day that he graduated from Airborne school. It definitely ment alot to me even if airborne school wasnt the most challenging thing iv ever done. Well next thursday we should be inproccessing for RIP and starting the class on monday my buddies and I are getting anxious to start. it seems like we have been waiting an eternity for this and its finally here. Definitely wouldnt have even been ready for the PT test if the Rangers on this site didnt put up all the information they do to let us know the high standards of the Ranger Regiment.

And you are gonna want to at some point. What is left to be determined is how you react when it hits you; take the short easy way and quit, or take the long hard route, rebel against your impulses, nut up and see it through.

It's up to you.

Soon real trouble and stress will begin. Stand up to it and never quit.

Once someone told me "It's mind over matter, it's in your mind and it doesn't fucking matter to me." Point being that you will find solutions and get through.

Good luck.

I never really believed it until I got to Bn but they are fucking right when they say "RIP was the easy part, the real test comes once you get to Battalion". It's so motherfucking true. Don't quit and don't be a turd.
