Ranger Jim,

Going by his posted shipdate of 05 Jan 06 he should be in a large class of DEP's here with us for OSUT, but according to the DEP Manifest is the only one shipping on 05 Jan.

He should have someone in his general AO for OSUT as 15 of us, including him, are shipping for Benning in January. However, some of the DEPs are starting a week earlier than others according to their OSUT start dates in the contracts.

A little note:

Just because there are different ship date's doesn't mean that y'all wont end up together. As long as it's close it might happen anyway.

When I went into the Guard, I signed about 6 weeks after my Brother and a bunch of other guys. I shipped to Knox a week after they all did. Not only did we all and up in the same Bn, we all ended up in the same Co. 5 of us were in the same Plt, and my brother and I ended up in the same Sqd. It was pretty cool that it happened that way especially when we were both Squad Leaders the whole time.

It has happened with Dep's on this site also.

I guess that ought to be the largest goup of ArmyRanger.com DEPs to train together. Hopefully T.O.E.S. and GroworDie (or whoever is at school) will keep us up to date on your progress.

How many DEPs will be arriving at Benning School for Boys that day???

T.O.E.S.
How many do you predict?
Ranger Jim,

4 days late and a dollar short. My bad, 51 knocked out to standard. As GorD said, theres 15 Deps shipping this January, the earliest is the 3rd and the last is the 31st. Could be quite a big number of ArmyRanger.com Deps training with each other, and that should be a good thing.

JUST THE BEGGINING!

Post by 1/75 Ranger »

RIP is just the beggining! Just like Ranger Lefty said "be ready to be cold, wet, tired, and miserable". If you make it to Battalion, that's where the real challenge begins. Good luck.
