Just thought I would leave a sitrep from basic. This is the first time I got access to a computer since ive been here. It's week 8 right now we have our eight hour pass today. Things are going smoothly so far and its been alot of fun. We are starting to get into the meat and potatoes of the infantry. Ive been doing pretty good so far staying under the radar and not getting picked out to often. I was picked as squad leader just recently which is a pretty cool experience. thanks to all the Rangers on this site I was definitly better prepared than most of the people ive met so far.
