This board is broken down into 'forums', into which each registered member who has access to each forum, can start threads, such as this one. My entry here, into the thread you started, is called a 'post'.

Anyway, inside each forum, is an intitial set of posts or threads which contain a FAQ - informational posts - regarding the proper use of each forum. I would highly recommend you spend some time reading through all the FAQs on the board, especially those which are in the forums in which you make posts, or start threads.

You should do that before posting again on this board.

Ranger Steadfast, I think Warrior Wife isn't online. I've sent a Private Message, too, so I'll take up the chalk and see if I can help.

Madsmarty, take a look at the screen. Up toward the top, you can see a line of small graphics and words

FAQ.. Search... Calendar... etc.

They are right under the ARMYRANGER.COM banner at the very top of the page.

In that row of words and phrases, second from the last, on the far right, one says "You have ____ new messages" If you click on that, you will be taken to your "mailbox" for Private Messages - usually called PM's for short. A few of us have sent you notes :) You'll find them there.

You'll get the hang of this. Just be patient with yourself and read way more than you post. :)
