Hi there my name is Nick and I am currently a junior in high school.
I have most of my junior year and all of my senior year left to train for the army and currently I
am doing workouts for lacrosse and hockey(in the weight room) and running plus pushups/situps/pull ups.
My question is should I enlist or study a martial arts before enlisting?
Thank you and have a great day.
Should I learn a martial arts before Army?

Cams, it was a general question to anyone on the site if that is what you are referring to?
Re: Should I learn a martial arts before Army?
Before you post again go back and review what the FAQ has to say about addressing Rangers on this site. For your information, Ranger Cams is a veteran of the Panama Invasion and has served as a LEO for many years. Please consider this your first warning.N_hoover wrote:Cams, it was a general question to anyone on the site if that is what you are referring to?

Sorry Ranger Jim and Sorry Ranger Cams I missed the part on the right where it states your rank. Will not make the mistake again.

Well, I see you learned your lesson. Please continue to tell us about yourself. In my experience, I do not see much value to martial arts training. I recommend you focus your efforts on overall physical fitness. Concentrate on the APFT. Never, never quit!N_hoover wrote:Sorry Ranger Jim and Sorry Ranger Cams I missed the part on the right where it states your rank. Will not make the mistake again.
