Overall OCS was a breeze compared to the lifestyle I've been used to for the past 8 years. I'm headed to IBOLC in a week then its off to 4th IBCT, 3rd ID at Ft. Stewart sometime next ...

Graduated RIP Class 05-07
Today I finally got to don my tan beret and had my scroll pinned on by my parents. I will be heading over to 3/75 next week. Its definitely a thrill making it this far and I'm sure my time in batt will be even harder than what I've been through so far. Our class started with 154 and graduated 78. I ...

Quick update: I passed the 12 mile road march. The first few miles were rediculously fast. I ended up falling back for a little while, but caught up with the main group at the 8 mile halt. We then turned around and I found myself near the front of the formation for the last 4 miles. All I have left ...

RIP Week 2 SITREP
I've made it through two weeks of RIP and I'm still here. The first week mainly consisted of classroom instruction and PT. This past week we did Cole Range. I got to enjoy the experience of hitting the woodline many a time. Overall, RIP hasn't been nearly as bad as I had it built up in my mind to be...

RIP Hold SITREP
I've been in RIP Hold since Tuesday. Things are not bad here. We have good PT in the morning and details during the day. There is a lot of standing around though. Its nice to see standards actually being enforced now, especially after the lax environment of Airborne School. We had our PT test to get...
