Its broken up into sections, with about 15 to 30 question per section I believe. You have your math and verbal and then some sections on electrical, mechanical, and other more technical things. It takes a little while to get through it all, but you shouldn't sweat it, its all basic stuff.

What is the best way to get into a Long Range Surveillance Unit or Detachment in the active army? Is their any way to request this once you arrive at your unit? Also, are many people in these units Ranger qualified?

If I was you, I would run for the hills, and if you can't find any hills in Indiana, run for the corn fields. I hope you try to join the 75th Ranger Regiment, because you will probably see that the Rangers on here are not joking about knowing people still serving.
