Ranger Intro

Hello all. Last time I posted was about 1.5 years ago as a punk ass DEP. I dont think I have been on since leaving for basic. Anyway, just graduated RS july 8th. Hope all is well with everyone. Let me know what you need to prove im not full of shit.

We said that the "Safest" (not 100% safe) place to stand would be against the wall which the weapon is firing out of. Not the wall behind the weapon. When firing from an small enclosed area wouldn't this be the safest place to be? Please let us know if we are incorrect.

Batt placement after RIP

How do they determine which Batt you will be placed in after RIP. Im pretty sure there is a wish list. Do most people get placed where they want or is it 'by the needs of the army?' I did a search looking for my answer and came up with nothing. Sorry if this question is repetitive. Thanks.

I will make it all the way. I have quick question. In the book 'to be an US Army Ranger' they said the army was trying out a system where all the option 40 guys are together in osut, airborne, rip etc. Is this the standard practice now? Thanks in advance for your help.
