I fully agree. I never had thought of looking into the background of the Ranger's Creed, now it just makes it all the more meaningful.
Thank you for teaching me that, Ranger Cams.

Re: Ranger Creed Question.
The Abrams Charter: The Ranger Battalion is to be an elite, light and the most proficient infantry in the world. A Battalion that can do things with its hands and weapons better than anyone. The Battalion will contain no "hoodlums or brigands" and if the Battalion is formed from such perso...

Re: Ranger Creed Question.
It was written by CSM Neal R. Gentry on 1974, by order of General Creighton Abrams, to serve as a code and philosophy of the Rangers, as they were meant to set the Army standards as model elite soldiers. I apologize for the late response. Thank you for emphasizing the history of the Ranger Creed and...

Ranger Creed Question.
Hello everyone, Just had a question in mind, are Non-Rangers allowed to memorize and recite the Rangers creed? i.e. Non-Ranger Soldiers/ROTC Cadets? even if they are not actual Rangers? I ask this because I know the sacredness of this Creed among Rangers, and would not want to disrespect it. However...

Re: Permanent Resident Inquiry
To Ranger Jim and Ranger LRP1
Thank you for the advice. I will do so. I agree that it's a complex issue, I'll find my way though it.
Out of curiousity, what's SCU?
Thank you again!
BlueEagle.

Re: Permanent Resident Inquiry
Oh I don't think I emphasized it but I am a Permanent Resident already, Ranger Jim :)
My concern was whether there is a "larger" chance to join the Regiment via 68W as compared to 11B? and if there was a similar program for the 11B to "volunteer" w/o and Option 40.

Permanent Resident Inquiry
Good day everyone! I understand that one must be a US citizen in order to volunteer to apply for the 75th Ranger Regiment. As I understand, it is possible to gain said citizenship during or shortly after BCT (please correct me if I am wrong). * If this is the case, is it possible to apply for the 75...

Re: Introduction: BlueEagle
Thank you for the warm welcomes RangerJd and Ranger Jim. I was typing actually a lengthy reply, until I was prompted by the site to re-enter my log-in which erased everything I've been typing for the past 2 hours  Anyway, I will condense what I need to say and address all questions without leav...

Introduction: BlueEagle
Hello Rangers and members, BlueEagle here, I'm 21 years old, currently finishing up my degree in college. After which I plan to enlist in the Army. I've done tons of research and years of thinking (specifically in the military) into what I want to do and I have a general idea. I signed up on this fo...
