Thanks for the response. My son is in holdover for a bad sprain. They won't let him do anything. though he does try to do PT like sit ups and things he does not need to put pressure on because he wants to keep in shape.
I did not quite understand whether your son did get leave or not.

Good morning everyone. I have a question, I know someone that did not go through RIP but instead put in an application to Ranger School. He was selected and did the 9 weeks and passed. Do you have to go through RIP to become a Ranger? Does rank have anything to do with it? Also what is the differnce...

Thanks for the help. What is EXODUS leave? Actually my son has a class two sprain and is being recycled for that. I totally agree about breaking that mental state. Civilian life and the home life can definetly take them out of that. I just hear so many conflicting things about what he is doing that ...

thanks for the help...actually the sprain is a class one.
It is painful but when asked about continuing there is no way he will quit.
He has 12 mile road march and he is going for it.
He is only mad it got in the way...but finishing it he will pain or not
