I'm not trying to be rude at all. I think I just misunderstood. The SF guys in my RS platoon told me that they were there because it's a way for them to show 'leadership' to their promo boards because it may be a while before they actually get a team. I'm not saying that with any authority, because ...

Thought I would update my status here. Went to MEPS, got a 92 on the asvab, 129GT and 119CO scores. Ship July 6th with an opt 40 contract. A little disappointed with my PT, my APFT score is hovering around 250 still. Going to take that one short step at a time. Just got to add 1 rep to my PU a week...

I take it you have something to do with the 442nd, or you just love thier motto. Trivia question. What was the most decorated unit in WWII? Yes, it was the 442nd, "Go For Broke" it was an all Japanese-American unit. Aww, man! You beat me to it.:) LT, I know that the 100th/442nd is over in...

Re: You think girls could make it through?

I bet there are a few that could. Probably the hardest part would be the ruckmarching. I've known a couple that could hack the ruckmarching though. LOL, actually the hardest part would be not getting peered out. Anybody else think there are a few females that could do it? This is like asking everyo...

I was thinking the exact same thing. WTF does "I'm going to give that a try" mean? :? And "being an officer seems like it is just more fun."?!?!?! :? FUN? That's the first time I heard that as a prinicipal motivation for wanting a commission. What the fuck do you ...

Welcome.

I had a 40yr old Chaplain in my class. He may have been crying on the inside, but on the outside I've never seen anyone who could remain so positive and cheerful. I can't tell you what effect it had on the platoon. Honestly, I still wonder if I could have made it through without him.

Littrell, Gary Lee Born: 26 October 1944 Wow, that rocks! Born exactly 25 years before me.:) Isn't it amazing who America puts on a pedastal, when these living idols largely go unnoticed. Ask anyone who Robert Foley is and they'd look at you blankly, but EVERYONE knows who Michael Jackson is. :roll...
