Re: Sitrep - Willis

Got an idea on who he is sir. Evening Rangers, posting a sitrep. I graduated Airborne school this past Thursday. They seriously fuck the RASP guys afterwards too, chute shakedown is the new meaning of hell to me. Whatever, its over with now. We're holding over at Airborne school until Tuesday pickup...

Re: Sitrep - Willis

Roger Rangers, again self motivation is key here. A friend and I have worked out a decent pt regimen. We do 4 laps around the airborne track. Stop at each workout square. Do the workout, 50 reps, 30 pushups. Move the fuck out. I've gained weight as well, I hang around 133 now. I've grown this odd fe...

Re: Sitrep - Willis

Roger that Ranger Ndog. I actually feel fortunate to have 2 months of hard pt. It'll suck a fat one but ultimately, ill be prepared moreso than someone coming straight from airborne. As for the leave, who gives a shit. I've actually got a Ranger in my hometown who talks to me regularly. Not sure if ...

Re: Sitrep - Willis

My apologies for my updates being so far between, Rangers. Currently on weekend between ground-tower week. I graduated OSUT on may 6th and processed into airborne that day. Raspies were split that volunteered during basic. We're set to graduate airborne the 26th of may. Our Ranger liason told us we ...

Re: Sitrep - Willis

Evening Rangers, posting a brief sitrep from my phone. We were allowed them for the day to call in regards to the pay situations. Im surely taking advantages of this. This past week we went through the mortar square. I qualified with my mortar system and scored a 100 on the exam. We have a Pt test n...

Sitrep - Willis

Evening Rangers of the site, I'm here to proudly say I've completed the first portion of OSUT and I'm sitting in the hotel for the remainder of my 36 hour pass. I report back tonight at 2100 to resume the training. As Kraddy said, we're all deemed 11C, so we're going to be stuck to the mortars for a...

Re: Sitrep.

MEPS is looking unlikely, yet again. The contract presented itself but was lacking of the Army College Fund, of which I had specifically asked for. I refused politely, but that made the recruiter who had "worked so hard" to produce the contract irate. Sorry if I "lied" more or le...

Re: Sitrep.

Wise words, thank you Ranger Bill. Another concern I have is I stand only 64 inches tall.. the minimum weight for my height was 114. I'm only 119 pounds. I'm concerned that running and things like that are going to pull me below the minimum. Stacking 6,000-7,000 calories a day at one time, no dice. ...

Sitrep.

Evening Rangers, I'm back once again to update my status. For some reason, my contract "was not available" at the time of my leaving for my first MEPS visit, so I've had a full physical but have not signed. I obtained green lights at every station, my vision was a little lack-luster. My ne...

Re: Update of enlistment.

Thank you, Ranger Oto-Man. I agree completely, the opportunity itself is great enough of an award. I pray a slot will be open when I become eligible to sign. The next update is to come when I've received and signed the contract itself.

Re: Update of enlistment.

Good evening Rangers, I am back to once again update with my status and how the recruitment process is going. Further into my research, I believe the MOS of 11B would suit me better. I told my recruiter of this and he went "hard at work" digging me up an 11x/opt40 contract. This was around...
