Re: Best Sapper competition

I was in Little Richard's strip club in Benning once and these three African American 11Mike Super Sarges were in there "gettin their drink on". At some point we all started bullshitting and they let us know that they were in town for The Master Gunner Course. Being young E-4's, we pretty ...

Re: Army Ranger KIA in Iraq, 06 Jan 2009

RIP Mate. Blue skies, black death.

1/75's winning streak had to get broken sometime.

Their casualty rates were a fraction of 2/75 and 3/75.

1/75 had not lost a guy to enemy action in several years.

He worked for a buddy of mine who said he was a good warrior.

Re: Places to Live

I disagree in terms of the fact that leaving the union is an IO issue and having the ability to prove that you were a republic prior to allowing yourself to be sucked into the union goes a long way to make people understand your horrific actions after you have raised the black flag. If you have no I...

Re: Places to Live

Disclaimer: I am not a Texan and have never lived there. Im kind of joking and I'm kind of serious on this, but Texas is the only state in the Union that has the right to suceed from the United States. They secured that right as a condition of joining the union in the first place. I mention this, be...

Re: Decorated Veteran freezes to death on street

Not trying to sound like the ass here, but we have no idea if this guy was really a good soldier or not. I'm sorry that anyone dies from their inability to overcome their addictions however, I don't like how the article tied him to being a veteran and therefore above dying in the cold....alone. I'm ...

Re: Creeping Death

I was the SL for "Creeping Death" as well as the Platoon Sergeant for that platoon. I still have a going away plaque that has creeping death on it. I told LTC (now General) Votel that Creeping Death was the "point squad for the 75th Ranger Regt". If you placed the ENTIRE Regt in ...

Re: Auto GPS

Garmin is king of the business. I have owned three hamd helds, two wrist mounted, and three car mounted Garmin products and they were all top notch. If any of you have some money buring a hole in your pocket and like expensive toys, might I suggest the Garmin Nuvi 850/880 (880 has bluetooth to allow...
