UPDATE:

Graduaded BCT November 30th, started 13F AIT December 03. It looks like I've secured an airborne spot pending my airborne physical.

I'm sad to say BCT felt like a joke, I was expecting it to be much harder. Looking forward to the challenge of RIP.

Thank you all for your encouragement.

Veteran ProudAFDad, First off, I apologize if "Veteran" is not the proper title to address you. I couldn't find anything in the FAQs regarding speaking to veterans. Thank you for your encouraging post. I will definitely post updates whenever I have the chance to. I think that if I make it ...

Rangers, Thank you for your support. I certainly do understand that this route is going to be much more difficult than walking in with an Option 40. Ranger fatart, Thank you for your inspiring story. While I understand that this isn't the norm, it is still good to hear and gives me hope. Bottom line...

Rangers, Update: I had been throwing around the idea of 13F for a while and I made a last minute decision(by myself, not pressured into it) to go for 13F over 97E. Due to the financial situation I'm in and the fact that the college semester already started and it's too late for me to enroll, I decid...

Correct. As a home schooled GED graduate, you will be required to complete 15 semester hours of college-level work. This requirement has been in place for several years. If you want to earn your place in the 75th Ranger Regiment, you came to the right place. Prior to proceeding further, please read...

Rangers, Just giving a quick update on my status: I graduated from an independent study(homeschool) program, so I am apparently not eligible for an option 40 contract. Before you ream me for being anti-social(as I saw on another homeschooler's post), I spent one and a half years in standard high sch...

Rangers,

Thank you all for your kind welcome.

I'll be standing by for Ranger Bill's translation of Ranger Kilted Heathen's last message.

I fucking hate those pricks.
Ranger Kilted Heathen,

I'm sorry that you're not fond of my MOS of choice. Would you care to elaborate on why you don't like 97E's?

Hello, I am 20 years old, just got back from taking my physical at MEPS. I should swear in this Tuesday after they finish with my high school's tier evaluation. I decided to register after lurking for two or three weeks on here. There is a wealth of information and I appreciate all of the Rangers wh...
