One of my buddies was an 18C, he was scared shitless of jumping but did it for 20+ years. He was a happy motherfucker to retire in one piece.

Unless that guy was about 4'3" and shaped like a hardboiled egg I find it hard to believe that someone would've told him he was too heavy at 180 lbs. My son weighed 250 when he went thru RIP and nobody messed with him about being too heavy. He's only slightly lighter than that now. He's about 3...

Old style combatives were a joke, I taught it for awhile with the disclaimer that anything you learned today will only serve to get your ass kicked if you attempt to apply these techniques. Rangers,
This guy got caught, didn't know you could get his IP address, now he's backtracking, trying to do damage control. As a PSG I always got good squared away LTs, I wish I would've got one guy like this, it would've been fun!

My son went in without an Option 40 contract because none were available and then met all these shitbags in OSUT and BAC that had Option 40 contracts. Luckily the Ranger Liasion picked him up at BAC. He said almost all the guys with Option 40s didn't make it, alot didn't even make it through OSUT an...

Thats what I thought, before I retired only Bat. guys and those positions that called for the Victor identifier (light guys, we had alot of victor slots in our light Engr. units) were eligible to go to RS.

Welcome Old Philly Guy, I grew up in Easton, about 50 miles north of you. I sure miss those cheesesteaks. Was back there for Christmas this year and gained 5 ugly lbs thanks to those cheesesteaks.

A guy goes in to the dentist with a toothache, the dentist says" this tooth has to be extracted" and prepares to give him a novicane shot. The guy says "aw, hell no doc, I hate needles, I will not allow you to give me that shot" The dentist then starts hooking up the laughing gas...

I know damn well there are orders for RIP. When my son finished BAC he called me all exited because he had a set of orders with his name and 75th RGR RGT all on the same page of paper. He was very proud of that, of course it wasn't nothing compared to the pride of finsihing RIP, but the orders were ...
