I find it's easier to look straight when I do PUs, it lets me judge if I'm breaking the plane or not. I've never had my reps counted for me either, it's always a big mystery if I don't keep track myself.

They issue Altama "summers" and Vibram "winters" for Desert boots at OSUT currently, Ranger JLTW. I saw/read they are issuing ACU CamelBaks as well.

I just have to say that I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

Cardio burns fat for energy unless you're doing anaerobic cardio (sprints), which is catabolic (burns muscle). I find cardio before weights just tires me out.

Did not know that about UCMJ, thought we fell under it at all times. My squad leader is my squad leader and I was looking at meeting the weight just to avoid conflict with him.
