Damn... that's what I've been doing for the past 6-12 months. Hey what happens when ya'll answer every question? Then every post will be "use search."

Not sure if this thread fits here, so move at your discretion. I read something somewhere (I believe the Ft. Benning website) that said you have about 6-12 months between RIP and Ranger School. What do you do in that time? Are you at Ft. Benning? Is deployment possible?

I just wanted to drop in and say hey. I was "directed" over here from the forums over at military.com. I've been in DEP for about 3 weeks with an option 40 contract, MOS 11x and I'm scheduled to ship out on September 22. I have plenty of questions, so if ya'll don't mind, ya'll should here...
