This wasn't the worse case. I've been on deployments where we put troops right back on the returning birds. Before we were even wheels up; their wives had UHauls backed up to the house loading up everything. I know one soldier took six months to find his kids.

We have one asshole around Ann Arbor that always has an unemployed Vet sign. People from the homeless program have tried to get him to come into the program. Won't come it. I can't stand em.
