DESCRIPTION:<p>The 75th Ranger Regiment Military Intelligence Battalion (RM
 IB) was provisionally established on May 22\, 2017 at Fort Benning\, Georg
 ia. The RMIB’s mission is to recruit\, train\, develop\, and employ highly
  trained and specialized Rangers to conduct full spectrum intelligence\, s
 urveillance\, reconnaissance\, cyber\, and electronic warfare operations i
 n order to enhance the Regimental Commander’s situational awareness and in
 form his decision-making process. Presently\, the RMIB consists of a headq
 uarters detachment and two companies.</p>

 er 3\, 1943: The 75th Infantry Regiment is first organized in the China-Bu
 rma-India theater as Task Force Galahad also known as Shipments 1688 A\, B
 \, C and as the 5307th Composite Unit (Provisional)\, the unit would serve
  until July 1\, 1945\, when it would be deactivated in China.</p>\n<p>The 
 75th Infantry Regiment (5307th Composite Unit) was the first United States
  ground combat force to meet the enemy on the Continent of Asia during Wor
 ld War II. It was during the campaigns in the China-Burma-India theater th
 at it became known as “Merrill’s Marauders” after its commander\, Major Ge
 neral Frank D. Merrill. </p>
